Live at the Cavern Club is a 1999 concert film starring Paul McCartney. It was filmed on 14 December 1999, during his concert at The Cavern Club, in Liverpool, England, and it was directed by Geoff Wonfor. On stage with McCartney were David Gilmour, Mick Green, Ian Paice, Pete Wingfield, and Chris Hall. [1] The DVD earned Gold status in Australia. [2]

Ian Anderson Paice is an English musician who is the drummer and last remaining original member of the rock band Deep Purple. He remains the only member of Deep Purple who has served in every line-up since the band's inception in 1968, as well as having played on every album and at every live appearance. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Deep Purple in 2016.
Run Devil Run is the eleventh solo studio album by Paul McCartney, released in 1999. It features mostly covers of both familiar and obscure 1950s rock and roll songs, along with three original McCartney compositions written in the same style, including the title track, making it the second McCartney covers album, after his Russian cover album. As his first project following first wife Linda's death in 1998, McCartney felt the need to get back to his roots and perform some of the music he loved as a teenager. On 14 December 1999, McCartney returned to the Cavern Club stage to play a set publicising the new album.

In 1993, Paul McCartney and his band embarked upon The New World Tour, spanning almost the entire year and almost the entire globe. This tour featured a controversial pre-concert film, which was shown before all of the concerts and had graphic animal test footage in the film. When the album was released in September 1999, it was only available in Australia. From 12 October 1999, it was made available as mail-order merchandise in Europe. Later, it was also sold in music stores. In the USA, the album was not released until 2012; this edition was cut to only one disc.

The Cavern Club at 10 Mathew Street, in Liverpool was the venue where the Beatles' UK popularity started. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Pete Best were first seen by Brian Epstein at the club. Epstein eventually became their manager, going on to secure them a record contract. Best was replaced by Ringo Starr on 16 August 1962, which upset many Beatles fans. After taunts of, "Pete forever, Ringo never!", one agitated fan headbutted Harrison in the club.
Live at Shea Stadium: The Concert is the fifth live album as well as a CD and DVD music compilation of songs performed by American singer/songwriter Billy Joel during two concerts at Shea Stadium in New York City on July 16 and 18, 2008. The Shake the Cage Tour by the Anglo-American rock group Fleetwood Mac began on September 30, 1987, in Kansas City, Missouri, and ended on June 28, 1988, in Manchester, England. It was their first tour since 1974 without Lindsey Buckingham, who left the band in August 1987.
