Longdon is a civil parish [2] in the Lichfield District of Staffordshire, England. It borders the district of Cannock Chase to the northwest, west, and southwest. It lies between the town of Rugeley and the city of Lichfield, as well as the town of Burntwood.

The parish covers the hamlets and villages of Brereton Cross, Gentleshaw, Goosemoor Green, Hanch, Longdon, Longdon Green and Upper Longdon. At the 2001 census, the population of the parish was 1,472. The 2011 census recorded the population of Longdon ward as 1,505.
