Loop Halt is the halfway point on the Fairbourne Railway. Here trains pass each other at the north end of the halt, providing perfect photo opportunities during special events and in the high season. Passengers can alight here for the embankment footpath to Barmouth.

Utterby Halt railway station Former railway station in Lincolnshire, England

Utterby Halt was a railway halt on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the village of Utterby in Lincolnshire between 1905 and 1961. The station, which opened as part of a new motor train service between Grimsby Town and Louth, is reputed to be haunted by the ghost of a ganger killed on the level crossing in 1953. The line through Utterby remained open for freight until December 1980.

It was opened in the nineteen thirties as part of the GWR's halt construction programme, aimed at combatting growing competition from bus services. Today the route is part of the Shrewsbury to Chester line. Nothing now remains on the site.

Today the route is part of the Shrewsbury to Chester line. Nothing now remains on the site.
