Distribution

This species was first described from Norway. It has subsequently been reported from a few localities between Bergen and Tromsø. [3]

Description

This goniodorid nudibranch is white in colour. [4]

Ecology

Lophodoris danielsseni feeds on bryozoans.

The nudibranch Lophodoris danielsseni eats a bryozoan growing on the leg of a pycnogonid, Nymphon leptocheles. Lophodoris danielsseni food.jpg

Nudibranch Order of gastropods

Nudibranchs are a group of soft-bodied, marine gastropod molluscs which shed their shells after their larval stage. They are noted for their often extraordinary colours and striking forms, and they have been given colourful nicknames to match, such as "clown," "marigold," "splendid," "dancer," "dragon," or "sea rabbit." Currently, about 3,000 valid species of nudibranchs are known.

Cadlina is a genus of sea slugs, dorid nudibranchs, shell-less marine gastropod mollusks historically classified in the family Chromodorididae. Recent research by R.F. The family Cadlinidae also includes the genus AldisaBergh, 1878.
