Lu Kehua (Chinese :陆克华;born October 1964) is a former Chinese politician. It was announced in November 2024 that was under investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. Previously he served as secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Party,vice mayor of Chongqing and before that,vice minister of housing and urban-rural development.
He was a representative of the 19th and 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. [1]
Lu was born in Zongyang County,Anhui,in October 1964. [2] In 1982,he enrolled at Huazhong Agricultural University,where he majored in land use planning and management. [2] Lu joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in November 1984 in his junior year. [2]
After university in 1989,Lu was assigned to the Market Division of the Real Estate Industry Department of the Ministry of Construction (now Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development). [2] He moved up the ranks to become deputy director in May 1994 and director in July 1996. [2] He eventually became vice minister in March 2015. [2]
Lu was appointed vice mayor of Chongqing in January 2018 and in May 2022 was admitted to member of the CCP Chongqing Municipal Committee,the city's top authority. [2] In February 2023,he was named secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CCP Chongqing Municipal Committee,succeeding Li Mingqing . [3]
On 4 November 2024,Lu was put under investigation for alleged "serious violations of discipline and laws" by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI),the party's internal disciplinary body,and the National Supervisory Commission,the highest anti-corruption agency of China. [4]
Lu Wucheng is a former Chinese official who spent most of his career in Gansu province. He was the vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Gansu Provincial People's Congress and Communist Party Secretary of Lanzhou. Lu also was the member of 12th National People's Congress. On January 23,2015,Lu Wucheng was placed under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. He was the first high-ranking politician being examined from Gansu province after the 18th Party Congress in 2012.
Yang Luyu is a former Chinese politician,who served as Mayor of Jinan,Shandong Province. He was dismissed from his position in April 2016 for investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Wu Tianjun is a former Chinese politician,and the Chinese Communist Party Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of Henan. He was dismissed from his position in November 2016 for investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Gan Rongkun is a former Chinese politician. He was investigated by China's top anti-graft agency in June 2021. He entered the workforce in July 1983,and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in April 1996. Previously he was secretary of the Henan Provincial Politics and Law Commission and a member of the Standing Committee of the CCP Henan Provincial Committee.
Hu Henghua is a Chinese politician currently serving as deputy party secretary and mayor of Chongqing. He is an alternate member of the 19th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Gong is the fourth vice-provincial level official in Jiangxi to be targeted by China's top anticorruption watchdog since the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party,behind Li Yihuang,Shi Wenqing and Xiao Yi.

The 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) was elected at the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party on 22 October 2022. At its 1st Plenary Session,the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection nominated its candidates for secretary,deputy secretaries,secretary-general and other members of the 20th CCDI Standing Committee. These were later approved by the 20th Central Committee at its 1st Plenary Session on 23 October 2022.

The Chongqing Municipal Supervisory Commission,or Supervisory Commission of Chongqing Municipal,Chongqing Supervisory Commission is a provincial-level local state supervisory authority in Chongqing,co-located with the Disciplinary Inspection Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. It was established in January 2018 to assume the functions of the former Chongqing Municipal Supervisory Bureau. The director of the Chongqing Municipal Supervision Commission is elected by the Chongqing Municipal People's Congress and is accountable to both the Congress and its Standing Committee,as well as the Supervision Commission of the People's Republic of China.
