Lucie Boot-Koops (born c. 1929) was a Dutch kortebaan speed skater from Uithuizen. She won many competitions in the 1950s. After her marriage she moved to Warffum. [1]
She won her first prize on 1 February 1947 when she was 17 years old, in her hometown Uithuizen, finishing second behind Coba Hoekstra. [2] She won her first race in December 1948 in Noordlaren. [3]
She won many races and prizes between 1948 and 1961. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] In January 1950 and 1954 she became champion of Groningen. [9] [10] [11]
In 2013 she gave a reading at the opening of the 15th anniversary of the Speed Skating Museum in Groningen. [12]
