Lunda Wells (born February 10, 1983) is an American football coach and former player who is the tight ends coach of the Dallas Cowboys. [1] Wells is the former tight ends coach of the New York Giants. [2] [3]
Wells played offensive guard for Southern University from 2002 - 2005, where he was a two-time first-team all conference selection and a team captain. He went on to play offensive line for the Grand Rapids Rampage of the Arena Football League and the Louisiana Swashbucklers of the National Indoor Football League. [4]
Wells began his coaching career as the offensive line coach, run game coordinator, and head strength & conditioning coach for Scotlandville High School in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2006.
In 2008, he joined the coaching staff at LSU, where he spent four seasons in varying roles as an assistant coach. Wells also interned for the Dallas Cowboys, working with their offensive line during training camp in the 2010 season.
Wells received his first full-time NFL coaching position in 2012 as an offensive quality control coach for the New York Giants. Wells spent eight seasons with the Giants in several different positions, before joining the Cowboys as their tight ends coach in 2020. [5]
Wells is married to Tiffany. They have two daughters, Adanya Neema and Zalika Nia.
The 1989 NFL season was the 70th regular season of the National Football League. Before the season, NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle announced his retirement. Paul Tagliabue was eventually chosen to succeed him, taking over on November 5.

He has coached in two Super Bowls and two Pro Bowls and numerous playoff appearances during his tenure as an NFL coach. Mangurian also was the head football coach at Cornell University from 1998 to 2000 and at Columbia University from 2012 to 2014.

He was fired from that position on December 4, 2017 following a 2–10 start, along with benching longtime starting quarterback Eli Manning. At the time of his termination, his 28 regular season games were the fewest by a Giants coach since 1930. He has served as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns and an assistant coach for the New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, and Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. He has also spent stints as an assistant coach with Mississippi State, North Texas, LSU and Glenville State of the NCAA.
