The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football team based in Seattle. Darrell Wayne Bevell is an American football coach who is the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 to 2010, the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2017, the Detroit Lions in 2019 and for the first 11 games of the 2020 season before being named the interim head coach for the remainder of the Lions season, and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. Bevell played college football for the University of Wisconsin, where he was a four-year starting quarterback.
Joshua Thomas McDaniels is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He began his NFL career in 2001 with the New England Patriots, where he served as the offensive coordinator for 14 non-consecutive seasons. During McDaniels' first stint as offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2008, New England set the season record for points scored and became the first team to win all 16 regular season games in 2007. In his second stint from 2012 to 2021, the Patriots won three Super Bowl titles in Super Bowl XLIX, Super Bowl LI, and Super Bowl LIII. McDaniels was also among the Patriots personnel to be present for all six of their titles during the Brady–Belichick era.
Golden Pat Ruel is a former American football coach. He was the offensive coordinator for Washington State from 1978 to 1981, Northern Illinois from 1985 to 1987, Kansas from 1988 to 1996, and offensive line coach for several National Football League (NFL) teams.
Super Bowl XLVIII was an American football game between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Denver Broncos and National Football Conference (NFC) champion Seattle Seahawks to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2013 season. The Seahawks defeated the Broncos 43–8, the largest margin of victory for an underdog and tied for the third largest point differential overall (35) in Super Bowl history with Super Bowl XXVII (1993). It was the first time the winning team scored over 40 points while holding their opponent to under 10. This became the first Super Bowl victory for the Seahawks and the fifth Super Bowl loss for the Broncos, at the time a league record for the most of any team. The game was played on February 2, 2014, at MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the first Super Bowl played outdoors in a cold-weather city and the first Super Bowl to be played on February 2.

He previously served as the Seattle Seahawks assistant head coach and offensive line coach. The Seahawks would win Super Bowl XLVIII over the Denver Broncos.
Zachary Joseph Miller is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils, earning consensus All-American honors. Miller also played for the Seattle Seahawks, with whom he earned a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl XLVIII over the Denver Broncos.

DeShawn Anthony Shead is a former American football cornerback and current coach. He is a defensive assistant/assistant defensive backs coach for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2012, and became a member of the Legion of Boom. He also won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks over the Denver Broncos. Shead spent the 2018 season with the Detroit Lions, before re-signing with the Seahawks in 2019.

The Broncos–Seahawks rivalry is an American football rivalry in the National Football League (NFL) between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks. The teams were AFC West divisional rivals from 1977 until 2001, after which the Seahawks moved to the NFC West. The Broncos lead the series 35–22. The teams have met twice in the playoffs, most notably the 43–8 Seahawks victory in Super Bowl XLVIII.
