Brian Fleury (born 1979or1980) is an American football coach and former player who is the tight ends coach for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Maryland Terrapins and Towson Tigers and has previously had coaching stints with Maryland, Sacred Heart, Towson, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins.
Fleury played quarterback for Frederick High School in Frederick, Maryland, before transferring to Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland, where he played under his stepfather head coach. [1] He only started as a senior and was selected All-Metro after throwing for 2,025 yards and 26 touchdowns while leading the team to an undefeated record and the state championship. [2] [3] He received no NCAA Division I athletic scholarship offers and thus joined the Maryland Terrapins as a walk-on in 1998. [2] He then played for the Towson Tigers from 1999 to 2002. [4]
Fleury began his coaching career in 2003 as a graduate assistant and intern at Maryland. [1] After two years in the position, Fleury became secondary coach for the Sacred Heart Pioneers in 2005 and then served from 2006 to 2008 as their defensive coordinator, secondary coach and outside linebackers coach. [5] He returned to Towson in 2009 and served four years as special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach. [6]
Fleury entered the National Football League (NFL) in 2013 and served as quality control coach for the Buffalo Bills. [7] He joined the Cleveland Browns as assistant linebackers coach in 2014, and then was promoted to outside linebackers coach in 2015. [7] He moved to the Miami Dolphins in 2016, spending a year as a football analyst before being their director of football research from 2017 to 2018. [8]
Fleury was hired by the San Francisco 49ers in 2019 as defensive quality control coach, then shifting to being an offensive quality control coach in 2020. [9] He helped the team reach the Super Bowl in 2019 against the Kansas City Chiefs. [1] He was promoted to tight ends coach in 2022, coaching All-Pro George Kittle. [4] [10] He was among the offensive coordinator candidates for the New England Patriots in 2024. [11]
Harold Wade Phillips is an American football coach who is currently the head coach of the San Antonio Brahmas of the United Football League (UFL). He has served as head coach of the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, and Houston Roughnecks. He has also served as interim head coach for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and the Houston Texans. Additionally, Phillips has long been considered to be among the best defensive coordinators in the NFL. In his long career, he has served as defensive coordinator in eight separate stints with seven different franchises. Multiple players under Phillips' system have won Defensive Player of the Year: Reggie White, Bryce Paup, Bruce Smith, J. J. Watt and Aaron Donald. Others under Phillips have won Defensive Rookie of the Year: Mike Croel and Shawne Merriman. In Phillips' lone Super Bowl victory, a defensive player would be named Super Bowl MVP: Von Miller.
Kenneth Howard Norton Jr. is an American football coach and former player who is the linebackers coach for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the UCLA Bruins and was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 1988 NFL draft.

Brian Michael Daboll is a Canadian-born American football coach who is the head coach for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Buffalo Bills. Daboll has also served in various capacities as an assistant coach for the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2006 and again from 2013 to 2016.
Matt Simon is an American football coach and former player. He is currently a Defensive and Special Teams Analyst with the University of Maryland Terrapins. Prior to arriving at UMD, Simon was the offensive coordinator for the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens football program, from 2017 to 2019. Simon has previously coached in the collegiate ranks,most notably as head coach at the University of North Texas from 1994 to 1997. Simon is one of only ten football coaches to win both an NCAA Division I-A/FBS national championship and a Super Bowl.

George Patrick "Geep" Chryst is an American football coach & scout, currently a Pro Scout for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Previously he served as the tight ends coach and offensive coordinator for the California Golden Bears. Chryst has 25 years of NFL coaching experience, working as an offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach and tight ends coach. In 13 of the 25 seasons coaching in the NFL his offense ranked in the Top Ten in either Rushing, Passing or Points Scored.
Jim O'Neil is an American football coach who currently is the defensive assistant for the Detroit Lions. Previously he was the defensive coordinator at Northwestern University and as assistant coach in the NFL for the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, the San Francisco 49ers and Las Vegas Raiders. He was a coach for numerous college football teams before that.
Robert Saleh is an American football coach who is the head coach for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He has served as an assistant coach for the Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, and San Francisco 49ers. The 2022 Maryland Terrapins football team represented the University of Maryland during the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Terrapins played their home games at SECU Stadium in College Park, Maryland, and competed in the Big Ten Conference in the East Division. The team was coached by fourth-year head coach Mike Locksley and finished in fourth place in the East Division. The Terrapins defeated NC State in the Duke's Mayo Bowl to achieve their first back-to-back bowl game wins since 2002-03.
