Marcus Mojigoh (born 21 June 1951) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Putatan from March 2004 to May 2018. He also previously served as Chairman of the Malaysian Cocoa Board and Saham Sabah Berhad. [2] In addition,he was a member of the Homeland Solidarity Party (STAR),a component party of the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and formerly the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition and was a member of the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO),then component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
With the re-activation of the UPKO Putatan divisional branch on 4 November 2023,Marcus returned as Putatan UPKO divisional chief and strives to re-energize the UPKO Putatan division with a blend of old as well as new supporters from a mix of different backgrounds.
In addition,he also penned a memoir of being brought up by a single widowed mother,Jinggunim Mojinggim Belimbing after losing his father unexpectedly at a very young age,by publishing and writing a book titled "A Leader Unraveled," launched at the ITCC Shopping Mall,Penampang on 22 June 2024. The launching was graced by Datuk Ewon Benedick,the Malaysian Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development.
Mojigoh's first political party was UPKO in the Barisan Nasional Sabah coalition. Mojigoh was elected to federal Parliament in the 2004 election using BN-UPKO logo defeating a People's Justice Party (PKR) candidate for the seat of Putatan. [3] [4] In 2018,he agreed with UPKO president Wilfred Madius Tangau to leave BN after the coalition's defeat in the 2018 Malaysian general election. In 2020,he left UPKO and became an independent. On 11 December 2021,Mojigoh unveiled that he had joined the STAR under the leadership of Jeffrey Kitingan a day prior on 10 December 2021. [5] On 24 August 2022,Mojigoh left STAR after only eight months with the party as there were "limitations of freedom of speech" which prohibited him from "speaking up" if he remained in the party. He elaborated that he could not criticise STAR or Sabah state government leaders as he "always speak up on what is right and good for citizens of Malaysia and Sabah". On his political career and future self determination,Mojigoh added that he would remain as an independent for the time being as he might "stay free for the moment and I am free to say what I would like to say as a political activist as I am not too tied up with any political party". In addition,Mojigoh revealed that he had been invited by many political parties to join them but he was still thinking about it. "It depends on the leader,if they trust me and give me a role to play then I will consider it,that are all I want,which is something Sabahans will be happy about,not so much about this project or that project." Mojigoh also shared that any political platform that could offer stability to the country should be supported,"I think it is very important for us to form a very strong government because at the moment,both the State and Federal governments are in pieces...we do not know what is going to happen tomorrow". At the moment Datuk Marcus @ Makin Mojigoh is a Divisional Head of UPKO Putatan.

Datuk Yong Teck Lee or also better known as DatukYTL(name abbreviation) is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who has served as the Nominated Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) since October 2020. He served as the 10th Chief Minister of Sabah from May 1996 to May 1998,Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah from July 1990 to December 1995,Member of Parliament (MP) for Gaya from November 1999 and MLA for Likas from April 1985 to September 2002. Ronald Kiandee is a Malaysian politician. A member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) and its Vice President since August 2020 and 2nd State Chairman of Sabah since December 2022,he has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Beluran since November 1999. He served as Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021. He was reappointed to the same post for a second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 until the dissolution of the BN government in November 2022,when BN lost its reelection campaign in the 2022 general election. Prior to serving in the Cabinet,Kiandee was the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration from 2018 to 2019 and Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat I in the BN administration from 2008 to 2018. He is presently the sole MP of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party of Sabah and one of the only two Christian MPs of PN alongside Ali Biju.

Awang Husaini bin Sahari is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Putatan from May 2018 to November 2022. He is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has served as the Vice President of PKR since July 2022. He is also brother of Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Petagas Awang Ahmad Sah Awang Sahari.

The United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation is a multiracial political party based in Sabah,Malaysia. The party was rebranded from its previous party's name,United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation using the same UPKO acronym;which was a widely known Kadazan-Dusun-Murut based party in 2019. The party had earlier been renamed once before in 1999 from its initial 1994 formation name of Sabah Democratic Party. In August 2021,UPKO has officially joined the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition as a component party. It is one of the four component parties of the Pakatan Harapan ruling coalition in Malaysia.
The 2020 Sabah state election took place on 26 September 2020 to elect all 73 elected members of the 16th Sabah State Legislative Assembly. The previous Assembly was dissolved on 30 July 2020.

Datuk Abidin bin Madingkir is a Malaysian politician who has served as the State Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister of Sabah in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state administration under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor since October 2020 as well as Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Paginatan since May 2018.
