Awang Husaini bin Sahari is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Putatan from May 2018 to November 2022. He is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has served as the Vice President of PKR since July 2022. He is also brother of Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Petagas Awang Ahmad Sah Awang Sahari.
In the 2018 general election, his party PKR fielded him to contest the Putatan federal seat, [1] [2] facing Marcus Mojigoh from the United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Organisation (UPKO), a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition who was contesting to defend his seat and subsequently won. [3] [4] In the 2022 general election, he was renominated by PH and PKR to contest for the Putatan seat. He lost the reelection very narrowly to Shahelmey Yahya from BN and United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) by a minority of only 124 votes.
On 20 July 2022, 3 days after the 2022 PKR party elections officially ended, he was appointed Vice President of PKR along with Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar who was in the position for 8 years from 2010 to 2018 and new officeholder Saraswathy Kandasami by PKR president Anwar Ibrahim after the decision was made in the PKR Central Leadership Council (MPP) meeting that night.

He also serves as Chairman of the Malaysian Cocoa Board and Saham Berhad of Sabah.He was a member of the Homeland Solidarity Party (STAR), a component party of the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and formerly the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition and was a member of the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO), then component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
Chan Foong Hin is a Malaysian politician and chemical engineer who has served as the Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Johari Abdul Ghani since December 2023 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Kinabalu since May 2018. He served as the Deputy Minister of Education II in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and former Minister Radzi Jidin from September 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and Chairman of the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) from May 2020 to March 2022. Shahelmey bin Yahya is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Chief Minister III and State Minister of Works of Sabah in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state administration under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor since January 2023, Member of Parliament (MP) for Putatan since November 2022 and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Tanjung Keramat since September 2020. He served as the State Minister of Community Development and People's Wellbeing in GRS administration under Hajiji from October 2020 to his promotion to deputy chief ministership and switch of portfolio in January 2023. Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan is a Malaysian politician who has served as the State Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister of Sabah in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state administration under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor since October 2022 and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Apas since May 2018.
