The deputy prime minister of Malaysia is the second-highest political office in Malaysia. There have been 15 officeholders since the office was created in 1957. The first prime minister of Malaysia,Tunku Abdul Rahman,started the convention of appointing a deputy prime minister,but some cabinets have opted not to appoint a deputy prime minister.

Dato Sri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Taib is a former Deputy Minister of Tourism of Malaysia. He is the 3rd son of Abdul Taib Mahmud,the former Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak and former Chief Minister of Sarawak while his mother was the late Laila Taib. Sulaiman wed 20-year-old Anisa,daughter of the former Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak George Chan Hong Nam.

He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pontian since March 2008. He also had served as the Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry,Deputy Minister of Finance and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Najib Razak and former Ministers Nor Mohamed Yakcop,Najib Razak,Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah,Mustapa Mohamed and Ong Ka Chuan from April 2009 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the BN coalition. He is the first DPM from Sarawak,one of the Borneo states in Malaysia and the second DPM not from the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) after Wan Azizah Wan Ismail from the People's Justice Party (PKR).

Reezal Merican bin Naina Merican is a Malaysian politician and banker who has served as 9th chairman of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) since May 2023 and Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bertam since August 2023. He served as the minister of housing and local government in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022,the minister of youth and sports in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021 and the member of parliament (MP) for Kepala Batas from the retirement of 5th and former prime minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as the MP from politics in May 2013 to his electoral defeat in November 2022. He is also a member and division chief of Kepala Batas of the Supreme Council of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the BN coalition and one of the only two Penang BN and UMNO MLAs alongside MLA for Sungai Acheh Rashidi Zinol. He has also served as chief of the Elections Department of UMNO since March 2023. He is an ethnic Malay of mixed Indian descent.
Tan Sri Celestine Ujang Jilan was a Malaysian politician from Sarawak. He served as a Sarawak Cabinet Minister (1974–81) including responsible for Housing and Land Development and was later elected Speaker of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (1981–87).
Rosol bin Wahid is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hulu Terengganu since May 2018. He served as the Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and former Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and the first term in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and former Minister from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021,Member of the Terengganu State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ajil from November 1999 to May 2013. The Ismail Sabri cabinet was formed following the appointment of Ismail Sabri Yaakob as Prime Minister of Malaysia on 21 August 2021 and dissolved 15 months and 3 days later following the appointment of Anwar Ibrahim as Prime Minister on 24 November 2022. It was the 22nd cabinet of Malaysia formed since independence. Following the coalition's defeat in the 2018 general election,Barisan Nasional (BN) has formed its first cabinet. This cabinet also has the full support of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS),Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS),three independent members of the Dewan Rakyat and conditional support of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.
Wilson Ugak Kumbong is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Minister of Digital in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Gobind Singh Deo since December 2023 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hulu Rajang since May 2013. He served as the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Sabah and Sarawak Affairs and Special Duties in the PH administration under Prime Minister Anwar and Minister Armizan Mohd Ali from December 2022 to December 2023 and Chairman of the Chairman of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) from April 2020 to his appointment as a deputy minister in December 2022. He is a member and Vice President of the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS),a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition and formerly Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He is also the cousin of Alexander Nanta Linggi,the Minister of Works and MP for Kapit.
