Mohd Sany bin Hamzan is a Malaysian politician and teacher who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hulu Langat since November 2022. He served as Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Taman Templer from May 2018 to August 2023. He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),then component party of the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalition. He served as the 1st Youth Chief of AMANAH from 2016 to 2018 and Youth Elections Director of PAS from 2013 to 2015. [1] [2] [3]
In the 2008 Selangor state election,Mohd Sany made his electoral debut after being nominated by PR to contest for the Dusun Tua state seat. He was not elected as the Dusun Tua MLA after losing to Ismail Sani of Barisan Nasional (BN) by a minority of 1,963 votes.
In the 2018 Selangor state election,Mohd Sany was nominated by PH to contest for the Taman Templer state seat. He won the seat and was elected to the Selangor State Legislative Assembly as the Taman Templer MLA for the first term after defeating Zaidy Abdul Talib of Gagasan Sejahtera (GS),Md Nasir Ibrahim of BN,Rajandran Batumalai of the People's Alternative Party (PAP) and Koh Swe Yong of Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) by a majority of 7,903 votes.
In the 2023 Selangor state election,Mohd Sany decided against being nominated to contest in the election.
In the 2022 Malaysian general election,Mohd Sany was nominated by PH to contest for the Hulu Langat federal seat. He won the seat and was elected as the Hulu Langat MP for the first term after defeating Mohd Radzi Abd Latif of Perikatan Nasional (PN),Johan Abdul Aziz of BN,Markiman Kobiran of the Homeland Fighters Party (PEJUANG),Abdul Rahman Jaafar of the Heritage Party (WARISAN) and independent candidate Mohamed Noortheen Ahamed Mustafa by a majority of 14,896 votes.

Dato' Haji Phahrolrazi bin Haji Mohd Zawawi is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Alor Mengkudu from May 2018 to August 2023 and for Pengkalan Kundor from March 2008 to May 2018 as well as from December 1999 to March 2004,Leader of the Opposition of Kedah from July 2020 to October 2022 and Member of the Kedah State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) state administration under former Menteri Besar Azizan Abdul Razak from March 2009 to February 2012. He is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and was an independent,a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),also a component party of the PH coalition and a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a former component party of the PR coalition. He also served as State Chairman of AMANAH of Kedah from November 2019 to his removal from the party in October 2022. He was also the State Deputy Chairman of AMANAH of Kedah and State Deputy Commissioner of PAS of Kedah.

A by-election was held for the Dewan Rakyat seat of P93 Sungai Besar,a parliamentary seat located in the state of Selangor,Malaysia on 18 June 2016 following the nomination day on 5 June 2016. The seat fell vacant after death of member of parliament Noriah Kasnon,who died in a helicopter crash on May 5,2016 while campaigning in the Sarawak state election. Noriah Kasnon was also the Plantations Industries and Commodities Deputy Minister. In the 2013 general election,Noriah Kasnon won the seat with a majority of 399 votes beating Mohamed Salleh M Hussin of Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS). This by-election was held concurrently with the Kuala Kangsar by-election for the same reason.

Hasanuddin bin Mohd Yunus is a Malaysian politician who has served as Chairman of the Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) since May 2023. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hulu Langat from May 2018 to November 2022. He was also Member of the Board of Directors of the Global Conference of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) from December 2019 to December 2021 and Vice Chairman of the Southeast Asian Parliamentarians Against Corruption (SEAPAC). He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),then component party of the Barisan Alternatif (BA) and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) opposition coalitions. Haniza binti Mohamed Talha is a Malaysian politician who served as Non-executive Chairperson of the Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) from April 2021 to her removal from the position in July 2022,Member of the Selangor State Executive Council (EXCO) from May 2018 to June 2020 and Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Lembah Jaya from May 2018 to August 2023 and for Taman Medan from March 2008 to May 2018. He served as the MLA for Semenyih from May 2008 to May 2018. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has served as the Deputy State Chairman of BN and UMNO Selangor and a Member of the UMNO Supreme Council since November 2022. He is also one of the only two BN and UMNO Selangor MLAs alongside MLA for Sungai Air Tawar Rizam Ismail.

Anfaal binti Saari is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Selangor State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration under Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari and Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Taman Templer since August 2023. She served as Member of the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ). She is a member and Division Women Chief of Gombak of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the PH coalition. She has also served as the Deputy Women Chief of AMANAH since December 2023. She is also presently one of the only two AMANAH Selangor EXCO Members alongside Izham Hashim,one of the only two female Selangor EXCO Members alongside Jamaliah Jamaluddin and the daughter of former Hulu Kelang MLA Saari Sungib.
