The People's Justice Party,is a reformist political party in Malaysia formed on 3 August 2003 through a merger of the party's predecessor,the National Justice Party,with the socialist Malaysian People's Party. The party's predecessor was founded by Wan Azizah Wan Ismail during the height of the Reformasi movement on 4 April 1999 after the arrest of her husband,former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. At the 2022 Malaysian general election,the PH coalition which the PKR was part of was returned to power again,albeit without a majority,leading it to form a unity government with political rivals. The party is one of main partners of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) ruling coalition in Malaysia.
Dato' Chua Jui Meng was a Malaysian politician and lawyer who served as the Minister of Health from May 1995 to March 2004 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bakri from August 1986 to March 2008. He was the longest-serving Minister of Health in the history of Malaysia by serving in the position for almost 9 years. Datuk Zuraida binti Kamaruddin is a Singaporean-born Malaysian politician who formerly served as Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob,Minister of Housing and Local Government twice in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. She was Member of Parliament (MP) for Ampang from March 2008 to November 2022.

Datuk Seri Dr. Edmund Santhara Kumar Ramanaidu is a Malaysian politician,businessman and entrepreneur who served as Deputy Minister of Tourism,Arts and Culture in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and former Minister Nancy Shukri from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022,Deputy Minister of Federal Territories in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and former Minister Annuar Musa from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Segamat from May 2018 to November 2022. He is a member of the Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) and was an associate member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the PN coalition and he created history of becoming the first non-indigenous politician to join BERSATU as an associate member. Previously was a member,National Integration Bureau chairman and Coordinator of Segamat of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He resigned from PKR and joined BERSATU in February 2020 Sheraton Move. He served as the 1st Deputy President of PBM from October 2022 to February 2023. In the November 2022 Malaysian general elections,he chose not to seek reelection as an MP and defend the Segamat seat that he had won in the previous election as a PKR candidate for personal reasons.
