Mustapha Mohd Yunus Sakmud [1] (born 9 July 1968) is a Malaysian politician and engineer who has served as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir since December 2023 as well as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sepanggar since November 2022. He served as the Deputy Minister of Human Resources in the PH administration under Prime Minister Anwar and Minister V. Sivakumar from December 2022 to December 2023. He is a member and Division Chief of Kota Belud of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the PH coalition. He has also served as the State Chairman of PKR of Sabah since May 2024. The People's Justice Party,is a reformist political party in Malaysia formed on 3 August 2003 through a merger of the party's predecessor,the National Justice Party,with the socialist Malaysian People's Party. The party's predecessor was founded by Wan Azizah Wan Ismail during the height of the Reformasi movement on 4 April 1999 after the arrest of her husband,former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. At the 2022 Malaysian general election,the PH coalition which the PKR was part of was returned to power again,albeit without a majority,leading it to form a unity government with political rivals. The party is one of main partners of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) ruling coalition in Malaysia.
Sim Tze Tzin is a Malaysian politician and engineer who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bayan Baru since May 2013. He served as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and former Minister Salahuddin Ayub from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He is a member of Parliamentary Special Select Committee for International Affairs. He also served as Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pantai Jerejak from March 2008 to May 2013. He is a member,Deputy Strategic Director and Division Chief of Bayan Baru of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the PH coalition. He also served as the political secretary to Anwar Ibrahim,Prime Minister,Chairman of PH and President of PKR.
Mohamed Azmin bin Ali is a Malaysian politician who has served as the State Leader of the Opposition of Selangor and Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Hulu Kelang since August 2023. Formerly a member of the Malaysian Parliament for Gombak from 2008 to 2022,Azmin served in the cabinets of Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabri Yaakob as Senior Minister of the Economic Cluster and Minister of International Trade and Industry from 2020 to 2022. A member of Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),which is a component party of Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. He also served as MLA for Bukit Antarabangsa from 2008 to 2023 and for Hulu Kelang from 1999 to 2004. He has also served as the 4th Secretary-General of BERSATU since November 2024. He is also widely regarded as a key figure in the 2020–2022 Malaysian political crisis,playing an important role in the fall of the PH federal government in February 2020.
Johari bin Abdul is a Malaysian politician who has served as the 11th Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat since December 2022. Previously,he served as the State Leader of the Opposition of Kedah beginning in October 2022 and was a Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Gurun from May 2018 until his resignation in December 2022. He was also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sungai Petani from March 2008 and held the role of Chairman of the Pakatan Harapan Backbenchers Club (PHBBC) from August 2018 to November 2022. Johari is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.

Datuk Seri Panglima Md Salleh bin Md Said,commonly known as Salleh Said Keruak,is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly for Usukan from February 1994 to March 2004,from May 2013 to May 2018 and again since September 2020. He served as the Minister of Communications and Multimedia in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Najib Razak from July 2015 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018,9th Chief Minister of Sabah from December 1994 to May 1996,Speaker of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly from December 2010 to July 2015,Senator from July 2015 to July 2018 and Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Belud from April 1995 to March 2008.
Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar @ Yusre bin Mohd Akin is a Malaysian politician who has served as Senior Political Secretary to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022. He served as the Deputy Minister of Primary Industries in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and former Minister Teresa Kok Suh Sim from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hang Tuah Jaya from May 2018 to November 2022 and for Bukit Katil from May 2013 to May 2018. Datuk Christina Liew is a Hong Kong-born Malaysian politician who has served as the State Minister of Tourism,Culture and Environment of Sabah for the second term in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state administration under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor since January 2023 and the first term in the Heritage Party (WARISAN) state administration under former Chief Minister Shafie Apdal from May 2018 to the collapse of the WARISAN administration in September 2020 as well as Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Api-Api since May 2013. She also served as the Deputy Chief Minister III in the WARISAN administration under Shafie from May 2018 to September 2020,and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tawau from May 2018 to November 2022. She is a member and Division Chief of Api-Api of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and formerly Barisan Alternatif (BA) and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) opposition coalitions. She has served as Vice President of PH since September 2017 and State Chairperson of PH of Sabah since August 2017. She has also served as Member of the Central Leadership Council (MPP) of PKR and Division Chairperson of Kota Kinabalu of PKR since July 2022. She also served as the State Chairperson of PKR of Sabah from October 2016 to her removal from the position in August 2022. She was also the Vice President of PKR. Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup is a Malaysian politician,lawyer and economist who has served as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Mohamad Sabu since December 2023 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pensiangan since May 2018. He served as the Deputy Minister of Science,Technology and Innovation in the PH administration under Prime Minister Anwar and Minister Chang Lih Kang from December 2022 to December 2023,Deputy Minister of Works in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and former Minister Fadillah Yusof from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Economic Affairs in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and former Minister Mustapa Mohamed from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021. He is a member of the Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS),a component party of the BN coalition and the eldest son of 1st and founding President of PBRS Joseph Kurup. He has also served as the 2nd President of PBRS since January 2023. He also previously served as the Deputy President of PBRS from November 2015 to his promotion to party presidency in January 2023,the Vice President and Youth Chief of PBRS. He is also presently the sole PBRS MP and the sole PBRS candidate elected in the 2022 General election.
Datuk Jonathan bin Yasin is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ranau since May 2018. He served as the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs II for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and former Minister Hamzah Zainuddin from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and the first term in Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and former Minister Hamzah from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021. He is a direct member of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition. He joined the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the PN coalition after resigning from the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He later resigned from BERSATU but remained in GRS as direct member.
Awang Husaini bin Sahari is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Putatan from May 2018 to November 2022. He is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has served as the Vice President of PKR since July 2022. He is also brother of Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Petagas Awang Ahmad Sah Awang Sahari.
Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir,commonly known as Akmal Nasir,is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation under Minister Fadillah Yusof since December 2023 and previously served as the Deputy Minister of Local Government Development under Minister Nga Kor Ming from December 2022 to December 2023 in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Johor Bahru since May 2018. He is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the PH coalition and had served as the 4th Youth Chief of PKR from November 2018 to July 2022.
The 2020–2022 Malaysian political crisis was triggered after several Members of Parliament (MPs) of the 14th Malaysian Parliament changed party support,leading to the loss of a parliamentary majority,the collapse of two successive coalition governments,and the resignation of two Prime Ministers. The political crisis culminated in a 2022 snap general election and eventual formation of a coalition government. This crisis ended in 2022 and Malaysian political crisis continued in the State of Sabah known as 2023 Kinabalu Move.
Wilson Ugak Kumbong is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Minister of Digital in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Gobind Singh Deo since December 2023 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hulu Rajang since May 2013. He served as the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Sabah and Sarawak Affairs and Special Duties in the PH administration under Prime Minister Anwar and Minister Armizan Mohd Ali from December 2022 to December 2023 and Chairman of the Chairman of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) from April 2020 to his appointment as a deputy minister in December 2022. He is a member and Vice President of the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS),a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition and formerly Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He is also the cousin of Alexander Nanta Linggi,the Minister of Works and MP for Kapit.
The Anwar Ibrahim cabinet is the current federal cabinet of Malaysia,formed on 3 December 2022,nine days after Anwar Ibrahim took office as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. The composition of the cabinet was announced by Anwar a day earlier on 2 December 2022,consisting of most of the political coalitions and parties represented in the 15th Parliament. It was the 23rd cabinet of Malaysia formed since independence. Although Perikatan Nasional (PN) was also invited to join the government,it decided to decline the invitation and instead formed the opposition. The government is often referred to as "unity government".
Datuk Armizan bin Mohd Ali is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Head of the Organizational Body of the Direct Members faction of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (DM-GRS) as well as the founder and manager of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah Student Wing (GRSSW) who was appointed in 2022. He has served as the Minister of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since July 2023. He served in the position in acting capacity from July to December 2023. He has also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Papar since November 2022. He served as the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Sabah,Sarawak Affairs and Special Functions in the PH administration under Prime Minister Anwar from December 2022 to December 2023. He is a direct member of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and was a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party of Sabah,branch of a component party of the GRS and formerly Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalitions. He was also a member of the United Malays National Organisation of Sabah,branch of a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
Mohammed Taufiq bin Johari is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sungai Petani since November 2022. He is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He served as the State and Division Youth Chief of Kedah and Sungai Petani of PH and PKR. He is the sole Kedah PH MP and son of the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat and former Sungai Petani MP,Johari Abdul. He is also presently the youngest MP at the age of 28.
Dato' Sri Huang Tiong Sii is a Malaysian politician and businessman who has served as Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad since December 2023,the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sarikei since November 2022 as well as Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Repok since May 2016. He served as the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources,Environment and Climate Change in the PH administration under Prime Minister Anwar and Minister Nik Nazmi from December 2022 to December 2023. He is a member,Vice President and Division Chief of Sarikei of the Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP),a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and formerly Barisan Nasional (BN) coalitions. He also served as Director of the logging firm MM Golden (M) Sdn Bhd prior to his deputy ministerial appointment.
