Marsha Milan Londoh (born December 6, 1985) [2] is a Malaysian singer and actress. [3] She gained fame for being a contestant in the third season of the Malaysian reality show contest Akademi Fantasia , in which she won fourth place. [4]

In 2013, Milan dubbed the voice of Elsa in the Malaysian dub of Disney's Frozen [5] [6] and sang the title track "Bebaskan" (the Malay version of "Let It Go"), [7] the second Disney film dubbed in Malay for cinema release after Tarzan (1999). [8]

Personal life

Milan is a Kadazan-Dusun from Tamparuli, Tuaran, Sabah. [4] Linda Nanuwil, who was the first runner-up of season 2 of Akademi Fantasia, is her cousin.

Milan was raised a Christian before reverting to Islam in December 2015 due to marriage laws in Malaysia. [9] [10]

Akademi Fantasia

Milan was one of the competitors in Akademi Fantasia Season 3 . During the Prelude concert, she failed to perform as she was diagnosed with sore throat. The jury panel was in consensus that her failure to participate in the concert should automatically disqualify her. Nevertheless, she was called back to perform again in AF3's first week concert, and she welcome sign in academy with Mawi through AF SERAP.[ clarification needed ]

AF Megastar 2017

In 2017, Milan joined the first reboot of Akademi Fantasia, dubbed AF Megastar. This is a singing competition for Akademi Fantasia alumni. Despite not winning the competition, Milan advanced to the grand finals and won a subsidiary award, Anugerah Terlajak Megastar, with prize money of RM 10,000. [12]

The third season of Akademi Fantasia premiered on the Astro Ria television channel on 4 June 2005. Kudsia Kahar continued to judge the show's contestants, along with Aznil Nawawi as host. Asmawi Ani, a native of FELDA Taib Andak, Kulai, Johor, was announced the winner of the competition on 7 August 2005, defeating runner-up Felix Agus.

Jwanita is a 2015 Malaysian Malay-language psychological horror film directed by Osman Ali features A-List actors, Maya Karin, Bront Palarae, Cristina Suzanne Stockstill, Umie Aida, and Marsha Milan Londoh. The film tells of Jwanita who is separated from her younger sister, Julyka when she was little. She was raised by a Dukun, and was often abused. After both adults, they met again but Jwanita had threatened Julyka's life and her family. It was released on 24 September 2015.

The thirteenth season of Akademi Fantasia, also branded as AF2016, premiered on 21 August 2016 and concluded on 9 October 2016 on the Astro Ria television channel. Zizan Razak returned as host along with his new partner, Alif Satar, while Ramli M.S. continued to judge and AC Mizal joined the judging panel following the departure of Rozita Che Wan.
