Martin Collins is a British radio presenter. He started broadcasting as soon as he left college. His broadcasting career began at Chiltern Radio. Next, he moved to London's Capital Radio, first presenting a Sunday night specialist show for the station, before moving to prominence on the late show (10 pm 1 am) in 19861989. He later moved to the weekday afternoon slot before eventually leaving the station in December 2003.

At the beginning of 2004, Collins went 'freelance', heard on various stations across the UK such as Virgin Radio, Magic 105.4 and Capital Gold. In July 2004, Martin joined Virgin Radio on a permanent basis, with stints on drivetime and the late show, leaving the station in December 2006. He replaced Russell Pockett on drivetime when 102.2 Smooth Radio relaunched in early 2007 [1] and remained in the slot until December 2008. [2]

In late 2009, he took on the weekend breakfast show (6 10 am) on Magic 105.4, then he presented various shows like Early Breakfast, Weekday Mellow Magic and just before he left the station he presented Magic Weekend Afternoons (Saturday and Sunday 3 6 pm) until late September 2016. Since October Tom Price took over presenting Magic Weekend Afternoons (Saturday 3 6 pm and Sunday 1 4 pm) until August 2017.

Martin moved back to Smooth Radio in 2017 part of Global Radio. He presents weekday editions of Smooth Late show from 10 pm to 1 am on Smooth Radio. [3]
