Rajendra Prasad was an Indian politician, lawyer, journalist and scholar who served as the first president of India from 1952 to 1962. He joined the Indian National Congress during the Indian independence movement and became a major leader from the region of Bihar. A supporter of Mahatma Gandhi, Prasad was imprisoned by British authorities during the Salt Satyagraha of 1930 and the Quit India movement of 1942. After the constituent assembly 1946 elections, Prasad served as 1st Minister of Food and Agriculture in the central government from 1947 to 1948. Upon independence in 1947, Prasad was elected as President of the Constituent Assembly of India, which prepared the Constitution of India and which served as its provisional Parliament.

He was the founder of Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Library and Chief Justice of Nizam's Supreme Court of Hyderabad from 1895 to 1898. Khuda Bakhsh maintains a strong legacy across the Islamic World for his contributions to Literature and History.
Bihar Vidyapeeth is an Indian Educational Institution founded by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi on 6 February 1921 but it was seized by the British in 1942. It was started in Patna by Shri Rajendra Prasad and the land was donated by Maulana Mazharul Haque. Its first Institution was opened at Patna-Gaya road presently known as Buddha Marg. It was inaugurated by Mohammad Ali Jauhar and Kasturba Gandhi along with Mahatma Gandhi. In 2022, it is proposed to make Bihar Vidyapeeth a Central University.
Abul Kalam Qasmi Shamsi is an Indian Islamic scholar, author, essayist and an Urdu translator of the Qur'an. He has been the principal of Madrasa Islamia Shamsul Huda, Patna, for about thirteen years. Some of his works included Tazkira Ulama e Bihār, Tahrīk e Aazādi Mein Ulama e Kirām Ka Hissa, Bihār Ki Urdu Shā'irī Mein Ulama Ka Hissa and Tashīl-ul-Qur'an.
Shayesta Bedar is an Indian historian, academician and scholar who is currently serving as the Director of Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Public Library, Patna. Before joining the National library, she has served as an Assistant librarian in Maulana Azad Library AMU, Aligarh from (1993–2019) as in-charge of the Manuscript section of the library where she established a library museum in Maulana Azad Library. She has authored numerous research papers based on Persian and Urdu literature. Additionally, she has edited and compile work for a variety of books related to Persian, Hindi and Urdu literature.
