Etymology

The specific name, watsonana, is in honor of "Mr. H.E. Watson" who was a Civil Officer in Pakistan. [2]

Geographic range

Mesalina watsonana occurs in, from west to east, Iran, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. [1]
