History

The Moulsham High School was built in 1938 as two separate schools, one for senior boys, and one for senior girls. The schools merged in 1972. [3] The headteachers of the boys' school were Jock Hutchinson (1938 to 1950), Mr. Smith (1950-1972), Hedley Andrews (1972-1990) Dr. C. J. Nicholls (1991-2010) and M. Farmer (2010-2019). [3] For the girls' school, headteachers were Mrs Sayers (1938-1942), Miss Portzi, and Mrs Golledge. [3]

Louisa Brownfield, also known as Louisa Watson, is a former England netball international. She was a member of the England teams that won bronze medals at the 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games and at the 2011 World Netball Championships. Between 2006 and 2015, Brownfield also played for Mavericks in seven Netball Superleague grand finals, helping them win two titles in 2007–08 and 2011.

Lindsay Keable is a retired English netball player who played for England and for London Pulse in the positions of goal defence or goal keeper.

Michelle Drayne is a Northern Ireland netball international and a former Antrim ladies' Gaelic footballer. She represented Northern Ireland at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games and at the 2019 Netball World Cup. She was also a member of the Northern Ireland team that were silver medallists at the 2012 and 2017 European Netball Championships. Drayne has also played in the Netball Superleague for Team Northumbria, Saracens Mavericks and London Pulse.
