Moultrie Church (1877) is a historic church in St. Johns County, Florida. The church in listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The small church was built in 1877 and is surrounded with marked and unmarked graves of fallen soldiers. [1] The church was originally founded by Southern Methodists in St. Augustine. It once had the name Wildwood Church. For many years the church was vacant, but in 2014, it was called St. Mary's by the Sea. It was part of the Polish National Catholic Church. The PNCC. [2]

St. John Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic church in the unincorporated community of Fryburg in Pusheta Township, Auglaize County, Ohio, United States. The parish was established in 1848, the same year in which the community was platted, and construction was completed in 1850. A Catholic school in connection with the church was established in 1877. Both buildings feature fine architecture: the church includes Gothic Revival elements such as ornate pilasters and lancet windows, while the former school is a good example of Federal architecture.

The history of St. Augustine, Florida, the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European origin in the continental United States, began in 1565 when it was founded by the Spanish admiral, Pedro Menéndez de Avilés. The Spanish Crown issued an asiento to Menéndez, signed by King Philip II on March 20, 1565, granting him various titles, including that of adelantado of Florida, and expansive privileges to exploit the lands in the vast territory of Spanish Florida, called La Florida by the Spaniards.
