NASCAR Rivals is a racing video game simulating the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season. It was developed by Motorsport Games and was released on October 14, 2022 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. [1]
In a press release, Motorsport Games announced numerous features to the game, among preexisting features from old games. In the release, Motorsport Games would promise "a variety of different modes" including a career mode, a challenge mode where the player plays out certain scenarios in NASCAR races, and a "race now" mode that allows the player to race any track in the game with any driver. In addition, Motorsport Games also promised an enhanced paint booth for custom cars and three forms of multiplayer: split screen, online multiplayer with 16 players, and a local multiplayer with eight players. On July 23, 2022, Motorsport Games-owned video game site Traxion announced that Amazon had a listing for a new video game from Motorsport Games on sale called "NASCAR Rivals". [3]
In a press release on August 17, 2022, Motorsport Games officially announced the game would be released on October 14, 2022 with preorders starting on August 24. [4] Motorsports Games also announced that game play of the game would be released on August 24. [5]
On August 23, 2022, Motorsport Games would announce that NASCAR Rivals would become a primary sponsor for Live Fast Motorsports' No, 78 NASCAR Cup Series team at the 2022 Coke Zero Sugar 400. [6]
Mario Kart: Super Circuit is a 2001 kart racing game for the Game Boy Advance (GBA). It is the third Mario Kart game and retains its predecessors' gameplay: as a Mario franchise character, the player races opponents around tracks based on locales from the Super Mario platform games. Tracks contain obstacles and power-ups that respectively hamper and aid the player's progress. Super Circuit includes various single-player and multiplayer game modes, including a Grand Prix racing mode and a last man standing battle mode.

Splatoon is a third-person shooter video game franchise created by Hisashi Nogami and Shintaro Sato, and developed and owned by Nintendo. Set in the far future on a post-apocalyptic Earth inhabited by anthropomorphic marine animals, the series centers around terrestrial cephalopods known as Inklings and Octolings – based on squids and octopuses respectively – which can transform between humanoid and cephalopod forms at will. They frequently engage in turf war battles with each other and use a variety of weapons that produce and shoot colored ink while in humanoid form, or swim through and hide in solid surfaces covered in their own colored ink while in their cephalopodic forms.
Asphalt Legends Unite is a 2018 racing game developed by Gameloft Barcelona and published by Gameloft. Released on July 25, 2018, it's the fifteenth major game of Asphalt series. NASCAR 21: Ignition is a racing video game simulating the 2021 and 2022 NASCAR Cup Series seasons. It was developed and published by Motorsport Games and was released on October 28, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows via Steam, with a further release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles on June 23, 2022. Upon release, the game has received an extremely negative reception from fans and players due to its numerous bugs and glitches, with many saying that NASCAR 21: Ignition is the worst NASCAR game ever released.
