Narayana Group of Educational Institutions is a chain of schools, junior colleges, coaching centers and professional colleges across India. They claim to be one of Asia's largest educational conglomerates. [2] There are about 750 schools, junior colleges, professional colleges and many other coaching centres for JEE, NEET, UPSC CSE and other competitive exams. [3] It is founded by cabinet minister of Andhra Pradesh and leader of Telugu Desam Party, Ponguru Narayana. [4] [5] [6] These institutions emphasize on coaching for competitive exams. [7]

In January 2024, the YSR Congress Party alleged that Narayana Institutions was illegally collecting personal data of the students' families ahead of elections. [8]
