Paul Pierre Cayard is an American yachtsman and professional sailor. He has competed at multiple world championship level sailing events, including the America's Cup, the Whitbread Round the World Race, the Volvo Ocean Race and the Olympic Games. In 1998 he was selected as the US Rolex Yachtsmen of the Year. He has won seven world championships, twice participated in the Olympic Games and seven times in the America's Cup. In 2011 he was elected into the US Sailing Hall of Fame.
Torben Schmidt Grael is one of the most well known Brazilian sailors, renowned in international competitions. A descendant of Danes, he was taken sailing by his grandfather at the age of five years on the sailboat Aileen, of the 6 Metre class, which was the boat used by the silver medal-winning 1912 Summer Olympics Danish sailing team. Once he moved to Niterói, he started sailing with his brother, Lars Grael, also an Olympic medal winner, on the Bay of Guanabara. He is father of Olympic champion Martine Grael.

Belcher was selected as the Australian flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Olympics after winning a second gold medal and third successive medal in the 470 class.

As of September 2014, Matsunaga is ranked twenty-sixth in the world for two-person dinghy class by the International Sailing Federation, following his successes at the South American Championships, ISAF Sailing World Cup Series, and 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Santander, Spain.

Oliver Bone is a Canadian sailor, who specialized in two-person dinghy (470) class. He represented Canada, along with his partner Stéphane Locas, at the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing last from a fleet of twenty-nine entries. Currently, Bone trains for the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Outside his Olympic career, he and Steiger locked the podium spot with a bronze in the men's 470 at the 2005 Summer Universiade in İzmir, Turkey. Etter trained most of his sporting career at Schloss Greifensee Sailing Club in the outskirts of Zürich.

André Otto da Fonseca is a Brazilian sailor, who specialized in the double-dinghy (470) and skiff (49er) classes. A three-time Olympian, he started his career as a double-handed dinghy sailor in Sydney, before switching to the skiff for the remaining two editions of the Games, finishing in sixth and seventh place, respectively. A Florianópolis native, Fonseca trained most of his competitive sporting career at Santa Catarina Yacht Club.
Anna Burnet is an Olympic Silver Medallist and two time World champion in sailings Mixed multihull Olympic discipline. She lives in Scotland. In 2020 she became world champion in the Nacra 17 World Championship with partner John Gimson. They were selected for the British Olympic team and gained silver medals at the 2020 Summer Olympics. The pair continued their good run to win the 2021 World and European Championships.
