North Dallas Adventist Academy (NDAA) is a Christian Adventist K-12 school in Richardson, Texas. [1] It was founded as the Richardson Adventist School (RAS). The school in its current form opened in August 2008. [2]
Johnson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 179,927. Its county seat is Cleburne. Johnson County is named for Middleton Johnson, a Texas Ranger, soldier, and politician. Johnson County is included in the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan statistical area.

The Telecom Corridor is a technology business center in Richardson, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas, which contains over 25 million square feet of office space and accounts for over 130,000 jobs. Located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and home to the University of Texas at Dallas, the Corridor is a strip about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) long along U.S. Route 75 (US 75), between President George Bush Turnpike and Interstate 635 (I-635) and is often considered an area of the Silicon Prairie. More than 5,700 companies, including 600 technology companies are headquartered in the area, including significant players such as AT&T, Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Verizon, Samsung, Texas Instruments, and MetroPCS. Some of these companies also have offices in Telecom Valley located in California. Although the Telecom Corridor was a booming area of Dallas's economy during the late 1990s, the dot-com bust of 2000 hit the region hard. However, it began recovering in 2004, and that recovery has since picked up momentum, gaining both the operations of many non-technology-related companies and many previously non-existent residential units designed in the New Urbanist style. The name "Telecom Corridor" is a registered trademark and may technically only be used to describe the area mentioned in this article.
Texas's 3rd congressional district of the United States House of Representatives is in the suburban areas north and northeast of Dallas. It encompasses much of Collin County, including McKinney and Allen, as well as parts of Plano, Frisco, and Prosper. Additionally, the district includes all but the southern portion of Hunt County. The district is also home to a public four-year university, Texas A&M University-Commerce, as well as Collin College.
Texas's 30th congressional district of the United States House of Representatives covers much of the city of Dallas and other parts of Dallas and Tarrant counties. The district contains the University of North Texas at Dallas, UNT Law, and Texas Women's University at Dallas. The 30th district is also home to Dallas Love Field airport and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. The current Representative from the 30th district is Democrat Jasmine Crockett, who has represented the district since 2023. With a Cook Partisan Voting Index rating of D+27, it is the most Democratic district in Texas.
DeSoto Independent School District is a school district based in DeSoto, Texas (USA). The district covers most of DeSoto, the Dallas County portion of Glenn Heights, and a section of Ovilla in Dallas County, as well as a small portion of Cedar Hill.
The City Center District is an area in north-central downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). It lies south of the Arts District, north of the Main Street District, northwest of Deep Ellum, southwest of Bryan Place and east of the West End Historic District. The district contains a large concentration of downtown commercial space which prior to 1950 had been concentrated along Main Street. The district also contains remnants of Theatre Row, the historical entertainment area along Elm Street which contained theatres such as the Majestic Theatre.
Lower Greenville is a neighborhood in east Dallas, Texas (USA), west of Lakewood. Specifically, the neighborhood is the area adjacent to Greenville Avenue south of Mercedes Avenue and north of Belmont Avenue. The area south of Belmont Avenue is often, and more specifically, called "Lowest Greenville," and the area north of Mockingbird Lane is called "Upper Greenville." "Lower Greenville" is also used to refer to the neighborhoods surrounding Greenville Avenue, including Vickery Place, the Belmont Addition, Glencoe, Greenland Hills, and Stonewall Terrace. It straddles Dallas Council Districts 14 and 2.
Bluffview is a neighborhood in North Dallas, Texas (USA). It is bounded by Northwest Highway and the Preston Hollow neighborhood on the north, Inwood Road and the Devonshire neighborhood on the east, University Boulevard and the Elm Thicket/North Park neighborhood on the south, and Midway Road, Bluebonnett Road, Bluff View Blvd., and the Shorecrest and Cochran's Chapel neighborhoods on the west.
Devonshire is a neighborhood in north Dallas, Texas (USA), bounded by Northwest Highway and Preston Hollow on the north, the Dallas North Tollway, Preston Center and University Park on the east, Lovers Lane and Inwood Village on the south, and Inwood Road and the Bluffview neighborhood on the west.
Greenway Parks is a 150-acre residential neighborhood located approximately five miles north of downtown Dallas, Texas, bounded by the Dallas North Tollway on the east, Mockingbird Lane on the south, Inwood Road on the west, and University Boulevard on the north. It borders the city of Highland Park on the southeast and the city of University Park on the east.
Highland Hills is a neighborhood in the southern sector of Dallas, Texas. The neighborhood is centered on the intersection of Bonnie View and Simpson Stuart roads. Approximately 78% of the neighborhood is African American, 18% is Hispanic, 2% is white, and 2% are multiracial.
Alexander's village is a non-HOA neighborhood in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, Texas (USA). The neighborhood is triangular in shape and is bounded by Abrams Road, Fair Oaks Avenue, and White Rock Creek. Walnut Hill Lane runs directly through the neighborhood.
Northwood Hills is a neighborhood in north Dallas, Texas, U.S.. The neighborhood is bounded by Belt Line Road on the north, Coit Road on the east, Alpha Rd east of Hillcrest on the south and White Rock Creek on the west. The Northwood Hills shopping center was the original shopping district for the area; it has since been renamed Spring Valley Crossing and is anchored by Sunnyland Outdoor Living.
St. Vincent's School was a private Anglican school in Bedford, Texas, United States. It was a school of St. Vincent's Cathedral in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth of the Anglican Church in North America and the Anglican Church of the Southern Cone.
Houston Adventist Academy, previously known as The Oaks Adventist Christian School, is a private Christian school located in Cypress, an area in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, with PreKindergarten through twelfth grade. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system.
Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship Academy at James W. Fannin is a personalized learning high school in Dallas, Texas and a part of the Dallas Independent School District. It occupies the former James W. Fannin Elementary School, which was built in 1915. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995 and as a Dallas city landmark the following year. A recent graduate of the school named Zoe Plock is one of the memorable students of class 2023. She along with Dominic, De'Amber, Brant, Will, and Alexis were all amazing and will forever be remembered by the High School.
North Lake Early College High School, also known as North Lake Collegiate Academy, is a public high school located in Dallas County, Texas and operated by the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). It has a campus for 9th and 10th grade students at the main campus at North Lake College in Irving and will have a campus for 11th and 12th grade students in the future. Under Texas law, DISD can have operations, including schools, outside of its own boundaries, and North Lake College is not in the DISD boundaries. The school opened with grade 9 students in 2019 and will expand by one grade level per year.
