Apart from her group's activities, she has acted in several television dramas such as Fashion King (2012), Local Hero (2016), Innocent Defendant (2017), Dae Jang Geum Is Watching (2018), Bossam: Steal the Fate (2021), and Good Job (2022). In 2013, she made her film debut in No Breathing. In 2018, she made her debut as a soloist with her first extended play The First Scene.

Recorded in Korean with minor phrases in English, Girls' Generation is a pop album with bubblegum influences. It spawned three singles: "Into the New World" in August 2007 as their debut single, the title track released simultaneously with the album, and "Kissing You" in January 2008.

Genie is the second extended play by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. The EP was released on June 29, 2009, by SM Entertainment. Composers Dsign Music, Yoo Young-jin, Kenzie, Hwang Seong-je and Kim Jin-hwan joined the production of the EP. Girls’ Generation started their official promotions on Music Bank, on June 26, 2009, ending their promotions on August 15.

A Japanese version was released digitally on January 25, 2011, by Nayutawave Records, and was later released as a double A-side single with "Mr. Taxi" on April 23, 2011, as the third single from their Japanese self-titled debut studio album.

"Mr. Taxi" is the first original Japanese song recorded by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It was released as a double A-side single with the Japanese version of "Run Devil Run" on April 27, 2011, as the third single from the group's eponymous debut Japanese album. Composed by STY, Chad Royce and Scott Mann, with the Japanese lyrics written by STY and Korean lyrics written by Jung Hye-young, "Mr. Taxi" is an electropop and R&B song. A Korean version was later recorded and included on the group's third Korean studio album The Boys, and was released as the album's second single in December 2011.

<i>I Got a Boy</i> 2013 studio album by Girls Generation

I Got a Boy is the fourth Korean studio album by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It was released for digital download on January 1, 2013, by SM Entertainment, and was made available for physical sales the following day by KT Music. Musically, the album is characterized as combining elements from a wide range of genres including R&B, new wave, and EDM. This is the last studio album and Korean studio album with their founding member Jessica before her dismissal from the group in 2014 and subsequent departure from SM Entertainment in 2015.

"I Got a Boy" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation for their fourth Korean-language studio album of the same name. It was released on January 1, 2013, by SM Entertainment and KT Music. Produced by the group's long-time collaborator Yoo Young-jin and Will Simms, the song is described as a hybrid of various genres including bubblegum pop, dance, and electropop.

"Party" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation for their fifth Korean studio album Lion Heart (2015). It was released as the lead single from the album by S.M. Entertainment on July 7, 2015. The lyrics were written by Cho Yoon-kyung and the music was composed by Albi Albertsson, Chris Young, and Shin Agnes. "Party" is a bubblegum pop and electropop song that features synthesizers, guitar, and Auto-Tune in its instrumentation. To promote the song and the album, Girls' Generation performed "Party" on several South Korean music programs, including Music Bank, Show! Music Core and Inkigayo. A music video for the track, directed by Hong Won-ki, was also released on July 7.

<i>I</i> (Taeyeon EP) 2015 EP by Taeyeon

I is the debut extended play by South Korean singer Taeyeon, released on October 7, 2015, by SM Entertainment. The EP was recorded at SM Studios in Seoul, South Korea, and was produced by Lee Soo-man.

"Ice Cream Cake" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Red Velvet for their debut extended play Ice Cream Cake (2015). Primarily a dance-rock track with influences from drum and bass, the song was written by lyricist Jo Yoon-kyung, Kim Dong-hyun, Fredrik Häggstam, Hayley Aitken, Johan Gustafsson and Sebastian Lundberg, while production and arrangement were handled by Hayley Aitken and Trinity Music. Following the release of "Automatic", it was released as the group's second single from the extended play on March 16, 2015, by SM Entertainment, along with an accompanying music video. With its parental release, the group showcased their dual sonic concept in one album for the first time as "Ice Cream Cake" was promoted as the "Red" single, in contrast to "Automatic" which was promoted as its "Velvet" single.
