Overdose is the third extended play by South Korean-Chinese boy bands Exo-K and Exo-M. It was released by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music on 7 May 2014 in Korean and Chinese versions. It is preceded by their special EP album "Miracles in December" that was released in December 2013. This is the final release to include members Kris and Luhan before they left the group and filed lawsuits against SM Entertainment requesting contract termination. It is also the final album released by Exo-K and Exo-M.
Exo-K and Exo-M's third EP was intended to be released on 21 April 2014, but its release was postponed due to the Sewol Ferry Disaster on 16 April. Its music videos were released on 6 May 2014 on YouTube, then followed by its album on 7 May 2014. [1] It reached 660,000+ preorders before its release, making it the most pre-ordered mini-album in history. [2]
On 15 May 2014, Exo-M's leader Kris filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to terminate his contract citing his neglected health and the company's violation of human rights. [3]
The Korean edition also peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's World Albums Chart, and No. 129 on the "Billboard 200", making Exo the highest charting Korean male group act on the Billboard 200 at the time. [4] [5]
Prior to EP release, Exo kickstarted their promotions with a showcase at the Jamsil Arena in Seoul on 15 April 2014. From 1 to 9 April, a contest sponsored by Samsung enabled fans to enter and win tickets to attend the showcase.[ citation needed ] They promoted into their respective subgroups; Exo-K promoted in South Korea while Exo-M promoted in China. On 24 and 25 May, they held their first solo concert entitled Exo from Exoplanet 1 – The Lost Planet.[ citation needed ] According to several news reports, tickets were reportedly sold out in seconds. Exo is a South Korean boy band based in Seoul formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and debuted in 2012. The group consists of nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. They are noted for releasing music and performing extensively in Korean, Mandarin and Japanese.

Apart from his musical career, Kai has also starred in various television dramas such as Choco Bank (2016), Andante (2017), and Spring Has Come (2018). Outside of his musical career, Suho has also starred in various television dramas and movies such as One Way Trip (2016), The Universe's Star (2017), Rich Man (2018), Middle School Girl A (2018), How Are U Bread (2020) and Behind Your Touch (2023).
Exodus is the second studio album by South Korean boy band Exo. It was released on March 30, 2015, by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music. The album was re-released as Love Me Right on June 3. The album was a commercial success in South Korea upon its release, with XOXO and its repackage selling over 750,000 copies and 370,000 copies according to Gaon, respectively.
Kim Jong-dae, better known by his stage name, Chen (Korean: 첸), is a South Korean singer and songwriter. Member Lay is featured in the Chinese version of lead track, "Tempo", marking his first appearance with the group since Winter EP, For Life (2016). It is available in four versions: Allegro, Moderato, Andante and Vivace, named after types of tempo. The album debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart. The album was repackaged as Love Shot on December 13, 2018.
