One Downtown is an office skyscraper in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. Formerly known as SunTrust International Center, it is located in the heart of the Central Business District, on Southeast 1st Street near 3rd Avenue. It is one block west of Biscayne Boulevard. The tower rises from a six-story parking pedestal, and comprises 31 floors. It is 125 m (375 ft) in height, which gives it a very low position on the list of tallest buildings in Miami. However, as the building opened in 1973, it appears in most photos of the Miami skyline, and is one of the more famous buildings in the city. It sits behind the larger One Biscayne Tower, also completed in the early 1970s, and since the completion of 50 Biscayne, the tower is further obstructed if viewed from Biscayne Bay. The building is the Miami headquarters of SunTrust Bank and is almost entirely composed of Class A office space. It was built by The Auchter Company. [1]

Contents

Crocker Partners acquired the building for $82.4 million in 2011. In May 2018, PCCP bought it for $127 million using a $101.8 million mortgage from Invesco. [2]

The nearest Metromover stations are Inner Loop and Bayfront Park.

Marinablue is located across the street from the Miami-Dade Arena. The building rises 615 feet (187 m), and has 57 floors. Marinablue is almost all-residential, with some retail and office space on the lower floors. The building was opened to residential occupancy since the spring of 2008. The building currently stands as the 9th-tallest in Miami and the 10th-tallest in Florida, as well as the 5th-tallest residential building in the city and the state.

One Biscayne Tower is an office skyscraper in Miami, Florida, United States. It is located on the eastern edge of Downtown Miami, on South Biscayne Boulevard. It comprises Class A office space completely. The office tower was acquired by CP Group in 2021 in a joint venture with Rialto Capital Management. The approximately 983,000 square feet building contains 39 floors and is 492 ft tall, to the roof. The 200-foot antenna mast on top of the building raises its total height, including antenna, to nearly 700 feet.

Citigroup Center is a high-rise office building located at 201 South Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami, Florida. Although Miami Center is not the city's tallest building, it is a symbol of an earlier downtown. Built in 1983, it is older compared with most of the taller buildings in Miami, which have been built in the last decade. In addition, the Miami Center is immediately adjacent to Bayfront Park, and is unobstructed when looking at the skyline from Miami Beach to the east. The building is 484 ft tall and has 34 floors. It is located on Biscayne Boulevard and Southeast 3rd Street, to the east of the Central Business District and is adjacent to the Southeast Financial Center and the Hotel Intercontinental. It is the tallest all-residential building south of New York City, though it is slightly shorter than the Panorama Tower in nearby Brickell. The building features a helipad on the roof and a full-service marina that can accommodate superyachts. The building contains 391 residences, with 99% of those residences have been sold as of 6 May, 2024. The only one remaining is the triplex penthouse unit which includes the last ever Aston Martin Vulcan with purchase. The building topped out in December 2021. Aston Martin Residences is being developed by G&G Business Developments in conjunction with Aston Martin. Miami-based Cervera Real Estate is handling sales of the 66-story tower.
