One Night Only: Barbra Streisand and Quartet at the Village Vanguard is a DVD/Blu-ray release of Barbra Streisand's unique album launch for her 2009 album Love Is the Answer . [1]
In 2009, in celebration of her new album Love Is the Answer, Streisand announced she would perform one special concert at the Village Vanguard in New York City, New York. Streisand was backed by a quartet consisting of Tamir Hendelman (piano), Jeff Carney (bass), Brian Koonin (guitar) and Ray Marchica (drums). The audience included special guests and celebrity friends of Streisand such as Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Barry Diller and Diane von Fürstenberg, Sandy Gallin, Frank Rich, Donna Karan, and Nicole Kidman, as well as 100 contest winners. [2] The release came in the formats of standard DVD, Blu-ray and deluxe edition DVD/CD combo pack. [3]

At the Opera House is a 1958 live album by Ella Fitzgerald. The album presents a recording of the 1957 Jazz at the Philharmonic Concerts. This series of live jazz concerts was devised by Fitzgerald's manager Norman Granz; they ran from 1944 to 1983. Featured on this occasion, in 1957, are Fitzgerald and the leading jazz players of the day in an onstage jam session. The first half of the 1990 CD edition includes a performance that was recorded on September 29, 1957, at the Chicago Opera House, whilst the second half highlights the concert recorded on October 7, 1957, at the Shrine Auditorium, in Los Angeles. The original LP obviously included only the mono tracks (#10-18).
