Orem High School is a high school in Orem, Utah, part of the Alpine School District. It was originally built in 1956, and has since undergone major renovations. The old school building was torn down and a replacement was built in what was the former building's parking lot, in 2010. [2]
Orem is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States, in the northern part of the state. It is adjacent to Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard and is approximately 45 miles south of Salt Lake City.
Alpine is a city on the northeastern edge of Utah County, Utah, United States. The population was 10,251 at the time of the 2020 census. Alpine has been one of the many quickly-growing cities of Utah since the 1970s, especially in the 1990s. This city is thirty-two miles southeast of Salt Lake City. It is located on the slopes of the Wasatch Range north of Highland and American Fork. The west side of the city runs above the Wasatch Fault.
Mountain View High School (MVHS) is located in Orem, Utah, United States. It is part of Utah County's Alpine School District. The school first opened its doors to the graduating class of 1980–81. Every year students from Orem Junior High and Lakeridge Junior High enter MVHS.
David Gary Crowton is an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Louisiana Tech University from 1996 to 1998 and at Brigham Young University (BYU) from 2001 to 2004, compiling a career college football coaching record of 47–36.
Luther John Elliss is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle for 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Utah Utes and was recognized as a consensus All-American. Selected in the first round of the 1995 NFL draft, Elliss played professionally for the Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos of the NFL and was a two-time Pro Bowler. He worked as the defensive line coach at Idaho from 2017 until being named defensive tackles coach at Utah in 2022. He has four sons that also play football: Kaden, Christian, Noah, and Jonah.

Lone Peak High School was given athletic 5A status beginning at the 2005-2006 school year. However, it has since been given a 6A status. The school mascot is a knight.

Orrin James Olsen is a former American football center in the National Football League (NFL) for the Kansas City Chiefs. Olsen played one season with the Chiefs in 1976, which was notable because two of his brothers, Merlin and Phil, were also playing in the league at the time.
