Orocrambus catacaustus is a moth in the family Crambidae. [1] It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1885. [2] [3] This species is endemic to New Zealand. [4] It has been recorded from the South Island. [5] The habitat consists of bogs. [5]

The wingspan is 21–27 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from December to March. [5]
