Orthomecyna is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae. All species are endemic to Hawaii.
Pyraustinae is a large subfamily of the lepidopteran family Crambidae, the crambid snout moths. It currently includes over 1,400 species; most of them tropical but some found in temperate regions including both North America and Europe.
Agrotis is a genus of moths of the family Noctuidae. The genus was erected by Ferdinand Ochsenheimer in 1816. A number of the species of this genus are extinct.
Crambinae is a large subfamily of the lepidopteran family Crambidae, the crambid snout moths. It currently includes over 1,800 species worldwide. The larvae are root feeders or stem borers, mostly on grasses. A few species are pests of sod grasses, maize, sugar cane, rice, and other Poaceae. The monophyly of this group is supported by the structure of the tympanal organs and the phallus attached medially to the juxta.
Omiodes is a moth genus in the family Crambidae. Several species are endemic to Hawaii.
Scotorythra is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae erected by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1883. All species of this genus are endemic to Hawaii.
Bradina is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae.
Cnaphalocrocis is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae. The genus was described by Julius Lederer in 1863.
Dichocrocis is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae. The genus was described by Julius Lederer in 1863.
Eudonia is a large and widespread genus in the grass moth family (Crambidae), subfamily Scopariinae. There is no common name for the roughly 250 species placed here; new species are still being described regularly. Although the genus was proposed early in the 19th century already, many of these moths were for a long time retained in Scoparia, the type genus of the subfamily and a close relative of Eudonia. A few small genera have been proposed for separation from Eudonia, but given the size of this group this is not particularly convincing; thus, all are retained here pending a comprehensive phylogenetic review.
Glyphodes is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae described by Achille Guenée in 1854.
Mestolobes is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1882. All species are endemic to the Hawaiian Islands.
Udea is a genus of snout moths in the subfamily Spilomelinae of the family Crambidae. The genus was erected by Achille Guenée in 1845. The currently known 214 species are present on all continents except Antarctica. About 41 species are native to Hawaii.
Pyrausta is a speciose genus of moths of the family Crambidae. The genus was erected by Franz von Paula Schrank in 1802.
Pycnarmon is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae described by Julius Lederer in 1863.
Palpita is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae. Members of the moth genus Stemorrhages may be very similar in appearance.
Tamsica is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae.
Peridroma is a genus of moths of the family Noctuidae.
Orthomecyna exigua is a moth of the family Crambidae. It is endemic to the Hawaiian islands of Molokai, Maui, Lanai and Hawaii.
Synanthedon is a genus of moths in the family Sesiidae.
