Oscinella frit is a European species of fly and member of the family Chloropidae. [1] Oscinella frit is an agricultural pest causing damage to crops by boring into the shoots of oats, wheat, maize, barley and grasses.

The Tortricidae are a family of moths, commonly known as tortrix moths or leafroller moths, in the order Lepidoptera. This large family has over 11,000 species described, and is the sole member of the superfamily Tortricoidea, although the genus Heliocosma is sometimes placed within this superfamily. Many of these are economically important pests. Olethreutidae is a junior synonym. The typical resting posture is with the wings folded back, producing a rather rounded profile.
The Pyralidae, commonly called pyralid moths, snout moths or grass moths, are a family of Lepidoptera in the ditrysian superfamily Pyraloidea. In many classifications, the grass moths (Crambidae) are included in the Pyralidae as a subfamily, making the combined group one of the largest families in the Lepidoptera. The latest review by Eugene G. Munroe and Maria Alma Solis retain the Crambidae as a full family of Pyraloidea.

A frit is a ceramic composition that has been fused, quenched, and granulated. Frits form an important part of the batches used in compounding enamels and ceramic glazes; the purpose of this pre-fusion is to render any soluble and/or toxic components insoluble by causing them to combine with silica and other added oxides. However, not all glass that is fused and quenched in water is frit, as this method of cooling down very hot glass is also widely used in glass manufacture.
Fritware, also known as stone-paste, is a type of pottery in which frit is added to clay to reduce its fusion temperature. The mixture may include quartz or other siliceous material. An organic compound such as gum or glue may be added for binding. The resulting mixture can be fired at a lower temperature than clay alone. A glaze is then applied on the surface to harden the object.

Frits Schalij is a retired speed skater from the Netherlands who was active between 1978 and 1987. He competed at the 1984 Winter Olympics in the 1500 m and 5000 m and finished in 10th and 17th place, respectively. He won a bronze and a silver medal at the European allround championships in 1984 and 1985, respectively. Nationally, he finished second allround in 1982 and 1984 and third in 1981, 1983, 1985 and 1986.
The Chloropidae are a family of flies commonly known as frit flies or grass flies. About 2000 described species are in over 160 genera distributed worldwide. These are usually very small flies, yellow or black and appearing shiny due to the virtual absence of any hairs. The majority of the larvae are phytophagous, mainly on grasses, and can be major pests of cereals. However, parasitic and predatory species are known. A few species are kleptoparasites. Some species in the genera Hippelates and Siphunculina are called eye gnats or eye flies for their habit of being attracted to eyes. They feed on lachrymal secretions and other body fluids of various animals, including humans, and are of medical significance.

Nelin got into second place three times and third place five times at the Three-Cushion World Cup from 1995 to 2000. He placed second place at the UMB World Three-cushion Championship in 2002. Nelin was preferred as a best ranked player in Danish, according to the cited Kozoom article. Dan Johansen had helped out Nelin. He spend his summer with a working job, in which Nelin was participant of the Danish Championship.

He placed into second place at the UMB World Three-cushion Championship and CEB European Three-cushion Championship, in which Burgman also placed in third place at the CEB European Three-cushion Championship in 2000. He won a Christmas tournament in Zundert in 2012. Burgman was also in a match against Dave Christiani.
