Partulina kaaeana is a species of tropical air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Achatinellidae. This species is endemic to Hawaii. It is one of the rarest animal species in the world, as it is believed to be extinct in the wild, and there are only 3 individuals in captivity. [2]
