People's Will [lower-alpha 1] is a political party in Transnistria. It is affiliated with the Russian nationalist People's Union led by State Duma Vice Speaker Sergey Baburin.

It was formed on 11 December 2006 by members of Transnistria's Supreme Council. Its leader is Oleg Gudymo, a former Transnistrian MP. Another Transnistrian MP, Grigore Mărăcuță, was present at the founding congress, as well as Sergey Baburin, and Nataliya Vitrenko, the leader of the left-wing Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine.

The Transnistria conflict is an ongoing frozen conflict between Moldova and the unrecognized state of Transnistria. Its most active phase was the Transnistria War. The Liberal Democratic Party of Transnistria is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in the breakaway state of Transnistria, recognized as part of Moldova. It was formed on 1 August 2006 by followers of Vladimir Zhirinovsky and is affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia. The party leader is Transnistrian politician Valerly Kulakli.

Bîcioc is a commune in the Grigoriopol District of Transnistria, Moldova. It is composed of two villages, Bîcioc and Novovladimirovca (Нововладимировка). Transnistria is a territory that separated itself from Moldova due to fear of a possible unification of the latter with Romania. This sparked the Transnistria War, in which Russian-backed Transnistria managed to stay separate from Moldova. Despite this, today Transnistria is legally and internationally considered part of Moldova.

The 2022 Transnistria attacks were a series of five incidents reported in the Eastern European breakaway state of Transnistria, internationally recognized as part of Moldova, that occurred in 2022 between 25 and 27 April, on 6 May and on 5 June. No casualties were reported, but material damage did occur.
