Pet Alien: An Intergalactic Puzzlepalooza, also known as simply Pet Alien, is a puzzle game developed by Shin'en Multimedia and published by The Game Factory for the Nintendo DS. It is based on the television series Pet Alien .

Gameplay

In An Intergalactic Puzzlepalooza players control the five aliens: Dinko, Gumpers, Flip, Swanky and Scruffy. They all have their special abilities, and the purpose of the game is to utilize these abilities in order to obtain certain gems that lie scattered around various levels. The player starts out controlling Gumpers, and as the player progresses throughout the game, the other aliens become unlocked.[ citation needed ]

The game centers on five aliens and their quest to save their Earthling friend Tommy Cadle. The aliens and Tommy Cadle are taken into space in Robotix's spaceship, where the aliens have to overcome numerous obstacles in order to save their friend.

Reception

The game received "mixed" reviews according to the review aggregation website Metacritic. [1] GameZone gave the Australian version a mixed review, a month-and-a-half before its U.S. release date. [4]

Pet Alien is a computer-animated series created by Jeff Muncy of Pajanimals fame, with episodes written by Dan Danko and directed by Andrew Young. The series is a co-production between Mike Young Productions, Antefilms Production, Crest Communications Limited and Telegael Teoranta, in association with John Doze Studios, with the participation of TF1 in co-production with Télétoon and TPS Jeunesse. For Season 2, KI.KA and Europool in Germany joined as co-production partners.

Marvel Super Hero Squad is a video game developed by Blue Tongue Entertainment, Mass Media, and Halfbrick and published by THQ. It was released in October 2009 for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii. The game features cartoonish super-deformed versions of the Marvel Comics superhero characters, as seen in the Marvel Super Hero Squad toy line by Hasbro, as well as the television show made by Film Roman and Marvel Animation for Cartoon Network.
