History

The consolidation of the Plemons, Stinnett, and phillips independent school districts into PSPCISD was effective July 1, 1987. [2] Each of the predecessor school districts had its own mascot, and the "Comanches" was chosen as the mascot for the unified district. [1]

Plemons is a ghost town in Hutchinson County, in the U.S. state of Texas. It is located 10 miles southeast of Stinnett, and 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Borger, on Plemons Road, just north of the junction of County Road R.
