Pornassio (Ligurian :Purnasce [1] ) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 642 and an area of 27.7 square kilometres (10.7 sq mi). [2]
