Pragati Sarani is a major avenue in Dhaka which connects Rampura to Kuril Flyover. In 2005, the Dhaka City Corporation officially renamed it as Bir Uttam Rafiqul Islam Avenue.[ citation needed ] However, it is still widely known as Pragati Sarani today. [1] [2] [3]

Purbachal New Town Project or formerly Purbachal Residential Model Town is the biggest planned township in Bangladesh.
