Kamalapur Railway Station, officially Dhaka Railway Station, is the central railway station in Kamalapur, Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh. It is the largest station and the busiest infrastructure for transportation in the country that acts as a gateway of the country's capital. It was opened on 1 May 1968.
Uttara Model Town or simply Uttara is a neighbourhood of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The name derives from the Bengali word uttor meaning "north". It lies on the road to Gazipur, and adjoins Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Diabari is a place situated in Uttara, Dhaka. It is a tourist attraction in Uttara. Diabari consists of plain lands of Sectors 15 and 16 in Uttara. Trains of MRT Line 6 starts journey from Diabari area. There is a canal which is 4.34 meters long. According to RAJUK's detailed area plan, there is a plan to build a road from Diabari to Gazipur.
Dhaka Bypass Expressway is a 48 km (30 mi) under construction controlled-access highway located in the division of Dhaka in Bangladesh. The project constitutes a segment of the Asian Highway network. Its principal objective is to alleviate heavy traffic congestion on access roads and highways passing through the city of Dhaka.
Bhanga Junction Railway Station is a junction station of Bangladesh. It is a junction which is being built in Bhanga. It will connect Dhaka with Jessore, Rajbari and Port of Payra through Padma Bridge. Its construction is likely to be end in June 2023.
Dhaka–Jessore line is a 172 km long under construction broad gauge railway. It is being constructed under the Ministry of Railways, Government of Bangladesh. The line will connect the capital of Bangladesh to Jessore via Dhaka District, Narayanganj District, Munshiganj District, Shariatpur District, Madaripur District, Faridpur District, Gopalganj District, Bangladesh, and Narail District. It is a project related to Padma Bridge.

The MRT Line 6 is a rapid transit line of the Dhaka Metro Rail. It is Bangladesh's first rapid transit line and has been in service since 2022. The line is entirely elevated and currently has 15 stations operational in service between Uttara North and Motijheel.
The Bhanga–Kuakata line is a planned railway line in Bangladesh to connect Bhanga with the beach city of Kuakata in Patuakhali. It is planned to build by 2030. It will also connect Barisal Division to the rest of Bangladesh.
The Rapid Pass is a smart card automated fare collection system based on near-field communication (NFC) technology used on participating public transit systems in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Rapid Pass card readers were implemented on a trial basis in 2017. Full implementation began in January 2018 and it was rolled out across rapid transit stations, railway stations, bus stops and terminals, and transit vehicles on many different transit systems.
The MRT Line 1 is Dhaka Metro Rail's rapid transit line under construction. It will be the second of the Dhaka Metro Rail system and will be operated by Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL). Its construction started in February 2023. It is scheduled to open in December 2026.
The Northern Route is one of the branches of the approved MRT Line 5 of Dhaka Metro Rail; the other one being the Southern Route. The construction of the Northern Route started in 4 November 2023 and is scheduled to commence operation by 2028.
