Pseudoschoenus is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Cyperaceae. [2] The only species is Pseudoschoenus inanis, a perennial sedge which is native to the Cape Provinces, Free State, Lesotho, and Namibia in southern Africa. [1]
