Qaleh Chal (Persian : قلعه چال‎, also Romanized as Qal‘eh Chāl and Qal‘ehchāl)^[1] is a village in Kuhestani-ye Talesh Rural District, in the Central District of Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 86, in 19 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kuhestani-ye Talesh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,479, in 1,512 families. The rural district has 48 villages.

The Central District of Talesh County is a district (bakhsh) in Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 85,258, in 20,617 families. The District has one city: Hashtpar. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Kuhestani-ye Talesh Rural District, Saheli-ye Jokandan Rural District, and Tula Rud Rural District.
