Owtar Mahalleh-ye Shirabad (Persian : اوتارمحله شيراباد‎, also Romanized as Owtār Maḩalleh-ye Shīrābād and Ūtār Maḩalleh-ye Shīrābād; also known as Ownār Maḩalleh)^[1] is a village in Haviq Rural District, Haviq District, Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 503, in 135 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Haviq Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Haviq District, Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,201, in 2,550 families. The rural district has 29 villages.

Haviq District is a district (bakhsh) in Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 30,348, in 6,913 families. The District has two cities: Haviq and Chubar. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Chubar Rural District and Haviq Rural District.
