Sileh Sar (Persian : سيله سر‎, also Romanized as Sīleh Sar and Sīlahsar)^[1] is a village in Kuhestani-ye Talesh Rural District, in the Central District of Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 157, in 38 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Kuhestani-ye Talesh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,479, in 1,512 families. The rural district has 48 villages.

The District has one city: Hashtpar. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Kuhestani-ye Talesh Rural District, Saheli-ye Jokandan Rural District, and Tula Rud Rural District.
