Deraz Mahalleh (Persian : درازمحله‎, also Romanized as Derāz Maḩalleh)^[1] is a village in Kharajgil Rural District, Asalem District, Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 544, in 129 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kharajgil Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Asalem District, Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,586, in 1,920 families. The rural district has 33 villages.

Asalem District is a district (bakhsh) in Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 39,089, in 9,203 families. The District has one city: Asalem.
