Rock Haven is an unincorporated community in Meade County, in the U.S. state of Kentucky. [1]
A post office called Rock Haven was established in 1848, and remained in operation until 1956. [2] The community most likely was named for nearby rock outcroppings. [3]
Rock Haven is mentioned in 1948 as town of forty people with a falling population in Harland Hubbard’s Shantyboat, A River Way of Life. [4]
