The racial makeup of the CDP was 25.69% White, 73.29% African American, 0.15% Native American, and 0.87% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.58% of the population.
There were 256 households, out of which 30.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.0% were married couples living together, 24.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.0% were non-families. 24.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
