Semiria is a genus of plants in the tribe Eupatorieae within the family Asteraceae. [1] [2] [3]
The only known species is Semiria viscosa, native to the State of Bahia in eastern Brazil. [4]

Most of the species are native to tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate areas of the Americas, but some are found elsewhere.
