Serbs in Finland are Finnish citizens of ethnic Serb descent and/or Serbia-born persons living in Finland. According to data from 2023, there were 702 Serbian citizens in Finland. [2]

History

The first significant wave of people from the former Yugoslavia arrived in the 1990s as refugees (mostly Bosniaks via UNHCR), while Serbs came in smaller numbers both during the wars and later through family reunification, work, or studies; many of the 1990s arrivals and their descendants are now well-integrated, employed, and often hold permanent residence or citizenship.
