Sienna Spiro is an English singer-songwriter. After sharing various viral singing videos on TikTok, she began releasing singles from 2024, including the UK No. 75 hit "Maybe". She released Sink Now, Swim Later, her debut extended play, in February 2025.

Early life

Spiro is the daughter of jeweler Glenn Spiro and his wife, Arabella. [3] [4] [5] Spiro and her family are Jewish, her mother's cousin is Gilbert de Botton. [6] Her mother is involved with Tikva UK, a non-profit supporting at-risk Jewish children in the Ukraine. [7] [8]

At age 10, Spiro began writing songs, inspired by jazz musicians such as Etta James and Frank Sinatra, as well as a range of hip-hop artists from the early 2000's. [2]

Career

In 2021, she began posting videos of herself singing on the social media app TikTok. After numerous viral videos, of both covers and original music, Spiro amassed a following. [2] She released her debut single, "Need Me", on 24 May 2024, which performed well on Spotify. [2]

Spiro's second single, "Maybe", was released in August 2024. [9] The song peaked at number 75 on the Official Singles Chart. [10] Later that month, she performed at All Points East festival at Victoria Park, London. [11] Her third single, "Taxi Driver", was released in October 2024. [12] [13] It was followed by "Back to Blonde", her fourth single, in November 2024. [14] [15] After the release, she was billed a "musician to watch" for 2025 by Dazed . [16] In January 2025, she released the song "Butterfly Effect". [17] [18] Alongside its release, she announced the release of her debut extended play (EP), Sink Now, Swim Later. [19] It was released on 21 February 2025 and includes all of her previous singles, alongside three new songs. [20]
